Palisades or retaining elements serve primarily to hold back water or earth. To ensure proper operation, they should be placed at least 1/3 of their length in the anchorage. The different lengths of the palisades allow you to integrate height elements into your design. Natural stone palisades are suitable for creating a raised floral element, for example. Keep in mind that for heavier applications, and for large height differences, you will need to provide the palisades with a reinforced backing on the reverse side.
